Seller information: Business name, business description, and government-issued ID type and number for verification purposes when applying to become a seller.

Listing information: Item descriptions, photos, prices, and location coordinates for proximity features.

Location data: With your explicit consent, we may access your device's geolocation to show you items near your location. This data is stored only in your browser session and is never permanently saved to our servers for buyers. Sellers' listing locations are stored to enable proximity search.

• To provide and improve our marketplace services
• To verify seller identities and prevent fraud
• To show you items near your location (with your consent)
• To personalise your browsing experience with recommendations
• To process payments securely via Flutterwave
• To facilitate communication between buyers and sellers

4. Location Data & NDPR Compliance

We request your location only after obtaining your explicit consent through a clear opt-in dialog. You can:

• Decline: The marketplace works fully without location — you can filter by state/city manually
• Withdraw consent: Clear your location anytime from your profile settings
• Session-only: Buyer location is stored in your browser session only and is cleared when you close your browser

We do not sell, share, or transfer your location data to any third party.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. Payments are processed securely through Flutterwave and we never store payment card details.
